Mystery Blogger Award
I was nominated for the Mystery Blogger Award by Phigella. Thanks, Phigella! Phigella has a wonderful blog about the “ramblings of a country dweller, gardener, crafter and dog lover.” Check it out over at phigella.com. She writes about everything from crafting, housecleaning and gardening to mental health, life lessons and the beauty of nature. She is truly eclectic, and she has a fantastic sense of humor.
I also want to give a shout-out to Paolo of PSBarbosa who nominated Phigella. He is such a supportive blogger and is so insightful. He writes about everything from life lessons and wellness to blogging, relationships and much more.
Okoto Enigma, of Okoto Enigma’s Blog, created the Mystery Blogger Award. Thank you, Okoto, for bringing this to the blogging community. According to Okoto, “The Mystery Blogger Award is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion.” I hope I can live up to that!

3 Things About Me:
- I am a procrastinator!
- I like: going places, (cool) old stuff, cats, sugar, walking, talking, flowers, growing things, reading, feeding people, baking cakes for birthdays, divas and singing along with divas! In short. Also accessorizing. I realize that was not really one thing.
- I love blogging, though I am off to a bit of a rocky start. My posting is horribly irregular (some due to technical difficulties) plus I am a procrastinator. And, I have technical difficulties. I also don’t know quite what my “focus” is (travel, food, relationships) but am just going to forge ahead and try to find out, or keep it varied. What I love the most about blogging is having a creative outlet, having something of my own, and having the potential to touch people. I also love the connections I have made through blogging and social media. I am going to try to get better about regular posting!
The Questions Given To Me:
1. What is your favourite book genre?
OMG aargh! That’s a tough one. I love, love, LOVE to read. I read everything from poetry, memoir and literary fiction to mysteries, thrillers, sci fi and urban fantasy. Also some humor and steam punk. I read a lot of books by women, because I like to support women writers. I also read a lot of books ABOUT women and with strong female main characters. There is a lot of wonderful urban fantasy with kick-ass female heroines being created right now. That is making it one of my favorite genres (see how I avoided that one?) Check out Patricia Briggs, Seanan McGuire, who also writes as Mira Grant, and Gail Carriger.
2. If you could have a meal with anyone in the world (alive or dead), which meal would it be and who would it be with?
Another tough one! My first thought (on who) was Nigella Lawson. Wouldn’t I love to be invited to one of her supper parties! I also thought about Martin Luther King, Gandhi, Elizabeth Bishop, Vita Sackville-West, Susan Sarandon, and Cher. I have a very busy mind. But if I could have a meal with anyone alive or dead, it would be with my mom and dad. I would dearly love to see them again. The meal would definitely be breakfast. My dad made the most awesome waffles.
3. What is your worst habit?
Well I will have to think about it and answer later.
Later: Procrastination 🙂
4. Dog or Cat?
Cat lady all the way!
5. What is your porn star name? (Name of first pet with name of first street you lived on)
Weasel Woodland. Hahaha that’s a good one. This was my weird or funny question, obviously
