Thanks for your interest in the Travel Stories group board! Please read the guidelines below. If they work for you, please follow me on Pinterest, then email me at Cynthia@AdventuringWoman.com or message me on Pinterest and request to be added to the board. I look forward to sharing your pins.
The board is for narrative posts about travel and destination experiences. It can include pretty much any travel experience—food, street art, etc—but content must be EXPERIENCES. So, please no:
- Packing lists/guides
- Gift lists, book lists, movie lists, product lists
- Posts about blogging, digital nomad, making money online, etc.
- Travel quotes
- Travel Apps or Gear
- How to teach English abroad, study abroad, work programs, etc. If you have a post about your experience studying or working abroad, great, but no how-tos.
- Sponsored product posts (Hotel reviews are ok, provided they talk about the experience, the destination and not just the hotel. Tour reviews are ok, provided you have a narrative about the experience.)
- Travel tips, unless the tip is part of a story about an experience (i.e., here’s how not to go into anaphalptic shock in India like I did)
General guidelines
- Your pin must link directly to a POST.
- Vertical pins only!
- Maximum 3 pins per day.
- No repeats. If you make different pins for the same post, that’s fine, but spread them out. If you’re repeating pins in Tailwind, make sure the pins are at least a month apart. I want this board to have value for travelers, not just the same pins repeated over and over.
- If on the surface your pin doesn’t look like an experience, please describe the experience in the pin description.
- Feel free to pin other bloggers’ posts to the board.
- Last but certainly not least, SHARE THE LOVE. Re-pin 1/1. Repinning other pins helps YOUR pins gain more reach.
Inappropriate posts will be removed. If I have to remove your pins, I’ll shoot you a dm. If I don’t get a response within a week or so, I’ll remove you from the board. You’re always welcome to come back, but I need to avoid spending a lot of time maintaining the board. Please make sure when scheduling with Tailwind to schedule appropriate posts only and to schedule similar pins at least a month apart.
Thanks for your participation. Here’s to telling stories!
